Ice Cream Cones

We saw these ice cream cake-cup cones from Edward & Sons / Let’s Do… products and had to see if we’d smile like the little girl on the box. What do we think about the cones? First, we noticed that they’re kinda grey–not the waffle-y color on the box. Second, we enjoyed that each cone is 12 calories and of the texture you’d expect if you’ve had a similar type of cone before. Kind of like eating brittle foam, but in a good way. Third, there’s no odd flavors to take the spotlight from what you put in them. We paired our cones with our non-scientific estimate of about 20 calories of Arctic Zero’s Chocolate Peanut Butter frozen dessert. Verdict? We’re pretty pleased with this new 35 calorie option, especially with the weather warming near us. So, yes, we’re smiling too. A side note about Arctic Zero’s options: we’ve tried a couple of other flavors, but we’ve found none with the enjoyable density and texture of the Chocolate Peanut Butter.
